I am a passionate believer that it is every pregnant person’s right to feel listened to and safe before, during and after giving birth. I also believe that everyone has the right to choose whatever kind of birth they want; there is not a right or wrong way to give birth.
My sincere commitment to my clients is to help guide them through the amazing and vulnerable journey that is birth. After the very difficult birth of my first child, it became my mission to help other pregnant people and families avoid the same experience. As a doula, my goal is to support birthers and other family members, providing them with the opportunity for a positive and empowering birth experience! I use evidence-based information to provide my clients with research that in turn takes away any bias from me. It’s important that my clients have all the information and can then make the most informed decisions for their family.
I am a certified professional birth and postpartum doula trained through a 200-hour certification process with Allo Doula Academy. This comprehensive and rigorous training prepares doulas for real-world situations by having them complete clinical experiences in hospital environments and classroom sessions.
When I’m not working in the doula world, you can find me exploring the outdoors, working in our quaint little garden, running around with my two young children, walking our sweet westie dogs around the neighborhood, or taking photos of babies and births!
